| By installing a “water smart” irrigation system, you can get up to a thousand dollars or more from your local municipality in addition to the money the system saves by reducing water usage. Here’s an example, of a water use efficiency rebate program from the East Bay Municipality of California: California’s East Bay Municipal Utility District offers up to $1,000 rebate for qualifying water saving irrigation hardware and landscape material costs and up to $500 for Water-Smart replacement irrigation timers. |
